Indian Xiaomi smartphone lovers are eagerly waiting for the release date of Redmi Note 12 series smartphones for the Indian market. The Redmi Note 12 series smartphones, which were launched in China last month, could be introduced in the country in early January. Three smartphones from the Redmi Note 12 series, Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ have been spotted in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, and these three smartphones may be launched in the country under different names, according to recent leading tech media reports.

Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 series smartphones have already been launched in China. The Redmi Note 12 series has introduced three smartphones namely Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+, all these devices come with premium features at a low price. The high-end flagship smartphone in the Redmi Note 12 series, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ edition, has been launched with 210W fast charging support and a 200MP Samsung HPX primary camera. The company claims that this smartphone will be fully charged in just 9 minutes.

All the three smartphones launched in the Redmi Note 12 series come with OLED displays capable of 120Hz refresh rate. Among these, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro device has the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset and will run on MIUI13 custom skin out of the box. The Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ phones will support 67W, 120W, and 210W fast charging respectively. All these new devices will have 5G support. Other features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS. A USB Type-C port is provided for data transfer.

Redmi Note 12 Series Smartphones Prices
The first smartphone of the Redmi Note 12 series has been launched at a price of just Rs 13,600. The standard Redmi Note 12 smartphone has been launched in China in three models, the 4GB+128GB model is priced at CNY 1,199 (approx. 13,600) and the 6GB+128GB model is priced at CNY 1,299 (approx. Rs 14,800), while the 8GB+128GB model is priced at CNY 1,199 (approx. Rs. 19,300).

The slightly more premium Redmi Note 12 Pro smartphone is priced at CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs. 19,380) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model, CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs. 20,500) for the 6GB+128GB model and CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs. 21,700) for the 8GB+256GB model. The +256GB model is priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs 23,900).

The Redmi Note 12 Pro+, which has more features than all these smartphones, has been launched at CNY 2099 (Rs 23900 approx) for the 8GB+ 256GB model and CNY 2299 (Rs 26,200 approx) for the 12GB+256GB model. Redmi Note 12 series smartphones are expected to be launched in India with different names at similar prices.
